Jon Bon Jovi On Richie Sambora: ‘He’s Gone’

Jon Bon Jovi reportedly told an entertainment reporter something that hasn’t been officially announced – that Richie Sambora is no longer a member of Bon Jovi.

That word comes from Showbiz 411 scribe Roger Friedman. While covering the after party held for the debut of “Rosewater,” the film directed by “Daily Show” host Jon Stewart, Friedman asked Bon Jovi about Sambora. The guitarist has been MIA from the band’s concerts since spring 2013.

Bon Jovi’s answer? “He quit. He’s gone. No hard feelings. Being in a band isn’t a life sentence.”
