Authorities interrupted the concert just minutes after show time to shine a light into the audience when fans started moshing.

Two concertgoers were reportedly arrested including a 22-year-old man who allegedly goaded other attendees and security guards into a fight and a 21-year-old woman for moshing.

The show went on but finally came to an end when police officers detained DeMarco for sitting in the ceiling railings after surfing the crowd and being propped up to the venue’s beams, according to the Santa Barbara Independent.

Officers reportedly didn’t realize DeMarco was the lead singer of the band until they spoke with him outside the venue.

One attendee, a local college student, told the Independent she was surprised by the amount of security and police presence for the show.

“It was definitely not some Slayer concert,” the woman said. “What was supposed to be an intimate concert turned into ‘I can’t believe the police are acting this way’….There was no danger in the crowd.’”
