One Last Tour From Barry Manilow

This spring just might be your final chance to see Barry Manilow on tour. The top Adult Contemporary chart artist of all time has announced the routing for his “One Last Time!” trek across North America.

During the past four decades Manilow has released nearly 30 studio albums along with four live LPs and 15 compilations. His latest album, My Dream Duets, just came out in October. The LP debuted at No. 4 on the Nielsen SoundScan chart, marking his 15th Top 10 album.

Thanks to modern technology, Manilow was able to step into a “virtual recording studio” and create dream duets with the likes of Judy Garland, Louis Armstrong, Whitney Houston and John Denver.

During his career the singer/songwriter has picked up just about every award in the biz, including a few Emmys, a special Tony award, a best pop male vocal performance Grammy for “Copacabana,” and an American Music Award for favorite pop/rock male artist. In 2002 Manilow was inducted into the Songwriter’s Hall of Fame.

Manilow says the One Last Time! Tour “is my way of thanking everyone for their years of support … one last time!”

The singer/songwriter/producer had fans in mind when insisting that ticket prices remain low. To celebrate the year his mega-hit song “Mandy” topped the charts in 1975, tickets will start at $19.75.

Since completing his Las Vegas residencies – and taking the stage more than 400 times between 2005-2011 at the Las Vegas Hilton and Paris Las Vegas – Manilow has limited his concert appearances. Now he’ll be back on the road starting Feb. 11 in Omaha, Neb. The “One Last Time!” Tour concludes in his native Brooklyn on June 17, which just so happens to be Manilow’s birthday.

“We’re having a great time putting the show together,” Manilow says. “We hope to take everyone on an emotional roller coaster. I can’t wait to see everyone dancing in the aisles.”
