Pinnacle Venue Services Opens

Pinnacle is the creation of a team of facility veterans and will sport offices in Virginia Beach, Va., and San Antonio, Texas.

The company’s four principals are Doug Higgons, Tom Paquette, Frank Roach and Michael Jones. They are joined by board member David Marberger. Higgons will serve as managing partner of the Virginia Beach office, while Paquette heads up the Texas outpost.

Pinnacle’s mission is to provide a broad range of services to a variety of facility types, including securing content, revenue enhancement and marketing initiatives, venue pre-opening and other services including staff training and evalution of ticketing and F&B services, among others.

Higgons recently left Global Spectrum after nearly 20 years, most recently as a regional VP and as GM of the Constant Convocation Center and S.B. Ballard Stadium at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Va.

Paquette also has more than 20 years in venue management and administration, focusing on opening new venues and events. He most recently was VP and GM of the AT&T Center in San Antonio.

He also served as GM of Tsongas Arena in Lowell, Mass.; Colonial Life Arena in Columbia, S.C.; and the American Royal Center and Kemper Arena in Kansas City, Mo.

“We’ve joined ranks to create Pinnacle Venue Services because we believe there is a need in the industry for a company that truly puts its clients first,” Higgons said. “Our goal is to provide venue owners and operators with fully customized and impactful solutions that address and resolve their needs.”
