The Smashing Pumpkins’ Mini World Tour

Billy Corgan & Co. are taking Rage Against The Machine’s Brad Wilk and The Killers’ Mark Stoermer on the road for a fall jaunt made up of intimate shows in major cities on both sides of the Atlantic. The Smashing Pumpkins just added a San Francisco show to the brief excursion.

You’ll find Stoermer on bass and Wilk will be behind the drum kit.

“We’re absolutely thrilled and humbled to have Brad and Mark helping us out with these shows,” said Corgan. “And if our rehearsals are any indication they should be one-of-a-kind.”

Additional stops include Berlin, London, Paris and New York. The band says fans should stay tuned for additional dates “to be added very soon” in select markets such as Chicago.

The tour is scheduled in the lead up to the Dec. 9 release of the band’s eighth studio album, Monuments to an Elegy. This week the group unveiled the track “Tiberius,” which Noisey.com proclaims “sounds like a return to form – a nod to the beloved Pumpkins sound of old with a modern twist.” See for yourself with the audio vid below.

Dec. 5 – London, England, Koko
