Drake Announces Trip Downunder

Australia and New Zealand are in for a real treat when Drake arrives in February for his first tour downunder. The rapper has lined up a batch of headline gigs to go along with appearances at Future Music Festival.

Fans are waiting on the follow-up to Drake’s 2013 album, Nothing Was the Same. This past summer the superstar unveiled the name of his fourth full-length – Views From The 6. The new collection of tunes is due out in mid-2015 via Universal.

After wrapping his co-bill tour with Lil Wayne in September, Drake is set to return to the road Feb. 23 in Auckland, New Zealand. He’ll be joined by special guest 2 Chainz.

Tickets for Future Music Festival, as well as the New Zealand gig, are available now. As for the Aussie headline shows, a Frontier Touring presale begins Thursday, Nov. 27. The general onsale is scheduled Dec. 1.
