Report: Leon Russell Band Instruments Stolen

San Antonio police are investigating after several instruments were stolen from the tour bus of Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Leon Russell’s band.

KSAT-TV reports guitarist Beau Charron had to play Sunday’s show with borrowed instruments after $4,000 worth of equipment was stolen in the morning while the band slept. Another band member tells police he noticed storage doors on the bus open and saw a man flee into a car.

Charron reported the losses included his mandolin and three electric guitars.
