One Direction Expands 2015 Plans
“We’re very excited to be going back to our home, where it all started for us,” Niall Horan said in a video message posted on the band’s YouTube page. “We cannot wait to see you all. Thank you so much for all your support. … Love you. See you soon!”
Horan hails from Mullingar, Country Westmeath, Ireland. The rest of the guys – Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Harry Styles and William Tomlinson – are from England. Now that 1D is the biggest boy band in the world, it’s sometimes hard to remember that the singers might never have teamed up if it wasn’t for Simon Cowell & Britain’s “X Factor.”
The band launches its “On The Road Again” 2015 tour in Australia in February, followed by shows in Japan, Singapore, Thailand, China, Philippines, Indonesia, South Africa and United Arab Emirates. Then the guys are off to Europe and North America.
