Bluesfest Lands Kravitz

February’s hard rock festival Soundwave added 15 more acts to its bill. They included Animals As LeadersEvergreen TerraceHe Is Legend and Killer Be Killed, The Devil Wears PradaTwin Atlantic and Sleepwave

These additions join headliners SlipknotSlashMarilyn MansonFall Out Boy and Judas Priest.

The five-day Bluesfest Byron Bay added Lenny Kravitz to its April 2 opening night.

The night includes Counting CrowsBen HowardTrombone Shorty & Orleans AvenueJimmy Cliff, and The Chris Robinson Brotherhood. Kravitz’s Bluesfest debut sees him front a 16-piece band.

“It has taken us years of negotiations and now, one of my dreams is about to come true,” director Peter Noble said. Kravitz will perform other shows in Australia.
