Kitty, Daisy & Lewis To Tour For ‘The Third’

London’s Durham siblings Kitty, Daisy & Lewis line up dates on both sides of the pond beginning in February in the U.K. and hitting North America in early March with stops including San Francisco, Los Angeles, Toronto, New York and Philadelphia.

The multi-instrumentalists that include everyone from movie director David Lynch to Eagles of Death Metal to actor Dustin Hoffman among their fans, will be doing some extensive roadwork in support of their new album, Kitty, Daisy & Lewis – The Third.

Turns out there’s a story behind The Third.  The group wrote the songs while building their own studio in a rundown building that was once an Indian restaurant.  Produced by Clash veteran Mick Jones, the album arrives March 31 on Sunday Best Recordings.  Check out the first single, “Baby Bye Bye,” embedded below:

“Baby Bye Bye” will be released digitally and on 7” vinyl Dec. 15.

For the upcoming tour Kitty, Daisy & Lewis will bring even more family.  Mom was the drummer in post-punk band The Raincoats and pop is a mastering engineer who worked at Island Records.
