Paul Collins Beat Rocks On

Squeezing in one more tour before 2014 closes, The Paul Collins Beat will return in 2015 with its “Garageland Tour” featuring a record fair and more.

The epitome of a perpetual touring machine, The Paul Collins Beat has turned DIY into a firm business model as it partners with up-and-coming bands to rock across the country one region at a time.  

At the Brass Rail in Peoria, Ill.

“The Feel The Noise Xmas Tour” features Collins working with several bands, including Nashville-based Sherbert.  Backing Collins on this adventure will be The Lifeforms, a group he met while playing a gig in Jacksonville, Fla.

Stops for PCB’s Christmas adventure include Knoxville, Baton Rouge, Memphis and Nashville.  Here’s the schedule:

Next up is “Garageland Presents The Paul Collins Beat & The Rich Hands Rock n Roll Extravaganza,” aimed directly at the heart of music lovers.  More than just a series of club dates, each event begins with a record fair / happy hour running 5-7 p.m. The DJ’ed, ticketed event involves local record stores and vendors, giving fans more chances to learn about the bands as well as discover new music and make new friends before seguing into the night’s main attraction.

And, as always, the Garageland tour will PCB showcasing as many new bands as possible.  Here’s the plan:
