PromoWest Buys Cincinnati Fests

The alternative Bunbury Music Festival takes place each year along the Ohio River in downtown Cincinnati and will be modified under the promoter’s watch to feature two main stages and two side stages.

A lineup for next year’s fest, scheduled for June 5-7, will be announced in February. Buckle Up, which features a country lineup, will take a break for 2015 and relocate from Sawyer Point and Yeatman’s Cove to a new location at Summit Park in Blue Ash, Ohio, for 2016. Refunds for 2015 are available at point of purchase.

“We are excited to expand into the Cincinnati market. We have strong relationships with the bands that play Bunbury as they play our venues throughout the year,” PromoWest CEO Scott Stienecker said in a statement.

PromoWest’s portfolio of concert venues includes LC Pavilion, Newport Music Hall, The Basement and A&R Music Bar in Columbus, Ohio, and Stage AE in Pittsburgh. Ticketmaster will handle ticketing for both events.
