Santana Announces 2015 ‘Corazón Tour’
This has been a good year for Santana fans, thanks to not only a new album from the band, but the release of Carlos’ memoir.
Corazón marks Santana’s 22nd studio album and the band’s first-ever Latin album. The LP boasts a bevy of special guests including Juanes, Pitbull, Gloria Estefan, Miguel, Diego Torres, Wayne Shorter and Cindy Blackman. Corazón is certified U.S. Latin Double Platinum and was the top selling Latin Music in the U.S. for six consecutive weeks.
Carlos’ memoir, “The Universal Tone: Bringing My Story To Light,” is described as an “inspiring tale of spiritual commitment and musical fearlessness that does not balk at finding the humor in the world of high-flying fame, nor at speaking plainly of Santana’s personal revelations, and the divine and infinite possibility he sees in each person he meets.” The memoir is included on best books of 2014 lists compiled by the likes of Oprah and NPR.
The setlist for the Corazón Tour will be filled with career-spanning favorites and songs from the new LP.
