Manager Dana Miller Dies

Dana Miller, 59, a former manager for teen idols like Corey Hart, Rick Springfield and Andy Gibb, was found dead in his mother’s house in Pasadena, Calif., Dec. 9, after not showing up for an appointment with a real estate agent the day before.

Miller, who had strong connections with the gay community of West Hollywood, served as chairman of AIDS Project Los Angeles and was influential in creating the Elton John AIDS Foundation Academy Awards Party, first held in 1993.

He wrote a column for Frontiers magazine for 12 years.
