‘Elvis Lives’ Deals Three Kings

Launching its 2014-15 touring season with five nights on Long Island, “Elvis Lives: The Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Event” gives you not one, not two, but three winners of the national contest celebrating the life of the King of Rock ’n’ Roll.

An annual favorite since it launched five years ago, the “Elvis Lives” tour usually features the winner plus finalists of various Elvis Presley Enterprises’ Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contests.  But beginning with a five-night stand starting New Year’s Eve at Patchogue Theatre For Performing Arts in Patchogue, N.Y., the tour will, for the first time in its history, present three winners portraying the legendary artist in various decades of his life.

Along with newly crowned 2014 winner Jay Dupuis, the tour will also include 2009 winner Bill Cherry and 2013 champ Dean Z.  In addition to the three Kings, the production also includes an Ann-Margret tribute artist plus backups singers, musicians and a top-flight multimedia presentation that immerses the audience in the life and times of Memphis’ most famous rock ’n’ roll citizen.

As always, “Elvis Lives: The Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Event” is presented by On Stage Touring in association with Graceland.

“The partnership between On Stage Touring and Graceland provides the only authentic touring showcase of Elvis tribute artists for fans who want to experience the music and live performance charisma of one of the most popular recording artists in history,” said Elliot Ordower, producer of Elvis Lives for On Stage.  “Our thriving production showcases each performer portraying Elvis in one of four eras: the 1950s, 1960s, his movie career and his concert years, so it is the complete musical package.”
