Madonna is reported to be planning a 2015 world tour for the 30th anniversary of her 1985 Virgin Tour.

Quoting “a source,” London’s Mirror reports that planning for the tour is in the “early stages” and that the outing will take place after the Material Girl releases an album of new material.

“This is going to be one very special tour,” the source told the Mirror.  “Madonna wants to pull out all the stops, especially because it is 30 years since the Virgin Tour.”

Damon Albarn will do double duty at the Sydney Opera House Tuesday night.  The Blur frontman/Gorillaz mastermind had originally planned on playing Dec. 15-16 at the venue but the hostage situation that unfolded at a Sydney café during the weekend resulted in Albarn’s Monday night show being moved to Tuesday.

The switch means two Albarn shows in one night at the Opera House with the gig originally scheduled for Monday now planned for 7 p.m. Tuesday evening.   Damon’s 8 p.m. start time for the concert originally booked for Tuesday has been pushed back to 9:30 p.m.

Tickets for the Monday night show will be honored for the rescheduled gig and refunds are available at points of purchase.  Click here for details.
