In Flames Keeps Charming Fans

In Flames has set dates for the second leg of its “Siren Charms Tour.” After the Swedish metal band wraps its tour with Opeth this weekend, it won’t be long before North America is welcoming the act back to venues across the States and provinces.

Siren Charms, which was released in September via Sony Music Entertainment, marks In Flames’ 11th studio album.

UltimateGuitar.com writes, “Siren Charms brings in clean and melodic vocals, non-shred-like riffs, old school-styled solos and even bits of electronic and trance synth sounds. It is precisely this pursuit of not adhering to the rules – even if they wrote them – that has placed this Gothenburg, Sweden-based band at the forefront of the pack since they first emerged back in 1990.”

Tonight In Flames plays New York’s Terminal 5 with Opeth. The outing concludes with Sunday’s show in Toronto.

“We are having such an amazing time being on tour in U.S. and sharing our stage with our friends in Opeth that it’s hard to believe how time flies and that there are only a few shows left this year,” vocalist Anders Fridén said. “Therefore, it’s even better to be able to announce that we’ll be back in the beginning of 2015 to see all of you beautiful people again. Thanks to all of you for your support; you make us feel at home!”
