Billy Idol On Ice
The 2015 Bridgestone NHL Winter Classic takes place at Nationals Park in Washington, D.C. Tune in to NBC to see Idol’s performance on the main stage at home plate live at 1 p.m. EST. It will also be shown on CBC and TVA.
After the set concludes, Idol will be joined near the stage by more than 150 members of all five branches of the U.S. Armed Forces for a special salute. The members of the Armed Forces will be in the audience Thursday as honored guests of the NHL.
Idol will continuing supporting his new album when he returns to the road in late January to kick off a run of U.S. and Canada gigs. Marking his seventh studio album, Kings & Queens of the Underground was released in October. Idol’s Facebook page points out that there are a few days left to get the LP on iTunes for the special price of $7.99.
