Catfish And The Bottlemen Takes On The USA

Hope you’re hungry for some catfish. The Welsh indie rockers known as Catfish and the Bottlemen have plotted out a trip through the States in early 2015, following the U.S. release of the act’s debut album.

The Balcony arrives on our shores Jan. 6 via Communion Records but you can stream the LP in its entirety now via Pandora. Produced by Jim Abbiss (Arctic Monkeys, Adele), the LP is made up of tracks from its EP Kathleen and the Other Three along with new, never-before recorded songs.

Catfish and the Bottlemen recently unveiled the lyric video for the tune “Kathleen,” which hit No.1 on Sirius XM’s Alt Nation and is charting in the top 20 on Alterative radio. Posted below, the vid features footage from the band’s numerous 2014 festival appearances.

The Wall Street Journal writes, “The song is saturated with crackling, overdriven guitars topped by singer Van McCann’s taut vocals.”

Be sure and tune in to “Late Show with David Letterman” to see the band make its late night TV debut with a performance of “Kathleen.”
