The list of acts set to play at the Feb. 6 event at the Los Angeles Convention Center, West Hall, is certainly the crème de la crème of the musical universe. When the organization dedicated to helping musician announced it would fete Dylan two nights before the Grammy Awards, it revealed that Beck, The Black Keys, Crosby, Stills & Nash, John Doe, Norah Jones, Tom Jones, Los Lobos, John Mellencamp, Willie Nelson, Bonnie Raitt, Eddie Vedder, Jack White and Neil Young were on the lineup.

Now MusiCares has upped the ante by adding Jackson Browne, Taj Mahal, Alanis Morissette, Aaron Neville, Bruce Springsteen, Susan Tedeschi and Derek Trucks to the evening’s entertainment.  Plus, the 39th President of the United States, Jimmy Carter, will present the award to Dylan.

The night begins with a cocktail reception and an silent auction.  Now in its 25th year, the event benefits The MusiCares Foundation and its efforts to provide programs and services to members of the music community, including emergency financial assistance, funding for medical services and more.  Check out The MusiCares Foundation Website for more information.
