Australian Noize: Lenny Kravitz, Kacey Musgraves, Tony Joe White

Chugg Entertainment confirmed Lenny Kravitz for two arena shows after his Bluesfest appearance. He headlines Melbourne’s  (April 6) and  in Sydney (April 8) accompanied by Trombone Shorty and Orleans Avenue.

After Pokey LaFarge’s debut Australian tour in early 2014 sold out, Live Nation and Artist Voice have the act at five East Coast clubs April 6-12 after sets at Bluesfest. Live Nation has violinist Lindsey Stirling returning for five theatre stops (Feb. 16-23) after making her Feb. 14 debut in New Zealand.

Love Police has Tony Joe White at 16 club and festivals March 11 to April 6. German metal band The Ocean, which canceled plans to visit in early 2015 citing a dispute with a promoter, announced seven fresh dates April 8-19. UK troubadour James Bay makes his debut with two club shows in February through Frontier Touring.

European DJ and producer Darius Syrossian also debuts in Australia this month, with Tigerstyle Agency confirming three clubs Jan. 23-25.

Another first-timer is U.S. country singer-songwriter Kacey Musgraves, who performs at the CMC Rocks Queensland in Ipswich March 13-15.

Atlanta hardcore outfit Norma Jean plays the Christian festival Easterfest April 3 and five club dates April 2-12 for Select Touring.

London house duo The 2 Bears, here for late January’s Sugar Mountain festival, does three club headliners Jan. 24-29 through Illusive.

Love Police has Sun Kil Moon back for three theatre stops March 19-22. Adrian Bohn Presents has British comedian Noel Fielding at theaters in April through May plus New Zealand, and Chilean-born Pablo Francisco on his fourth trip for four shows April 17-24.

Live Nation has British satirist  starting his latest run in New Zealand Feb. 20 followed by three Aussie comedy rooms March 21-28.
