Yet Another Billy Joel MSG Gig

Evidently 21 sold-out shows at Madison Square Garden isn’t enough for Billy Joel.  Fans now have another gig to look forward to, scheduled for October.

Announced today by MSG, the Oct. 21 concert will mark a career total of 68 concerts by Joel at the New York arena.

When the man who wrote “New York State Of Mind” said he would do an MSG residency, he said he’d play one show a month as long as there was demand.  Now it looks as if the shows will never stop.  To give you an idea of how quickly the number of bookings has increased, in November he announced his 13th consecutive show at The Garden, scheduled for Jan. 9.
