The Cat Empire Returns

A presence on the North American concert scene year after year, Australia’s The Cat Empire was absent from these shores in 2014. Never fear, however, because the band launches a U.S./Canada run in early April, beginning in British Columbia.

Humor, entertainment and energy make up The Cat Empire’s rep.  The group’s latest album, Steal The Light, debuted in the Top 20 in six countries.

The upcoming tour will include music from an album the reggae/jazz/Gypsy//Cuban/funk/ party band has been recording in Melbourne with producer Jan Skubiszewski at the helm.  Now a fully indie act, The Cat Empire plans to release the new songs via a subscription model.

The upcoming tour follows The Cat Empire’s slot on “Melbourne Zoo Twilights” March 7.   Here are the dates:
