Matt And Kim Bring ‘New Glow’ To Spring

Indie dance duo Matt and Kim return to the road beginning in April in support of their new album, “New Glow.” Launching the excursion on the East Coast, destinations include Philadelphia, Houston, Los Angeles, Chicago, Toronto and Cleveland.

Although the album doesn’t arrive until April 7, Matt and Kim recently released a performance lyric video for the song “Get It.”

“Anyone who has seen us knows we love any style of music you can have fun and get wild to,” Matt and Kim said in a statement. “While there are definitely songs that will feel familiar to people who know our stuff, there are also songs like ‘Get It’ which have always been part of who we are but went unrecorded to this point.”

Life has been good for keyboardist/vocalist Matt Johnson and drummer Kim Schifino. Since meeting while attending Brooklyn’s Pratt Institute, the musicians have forged a touring legacy that includes performances at top festivals such as Coachella, Milwaukee’s Summerfest, Europe’s Pukkelpop and Miami’s Ultra.

But the spring road trip has Matt and Kim playing theatres and clubs rather than the mega-festivals they’ve been appearing at. Here are the dates:
