CounterPoint Announces Lineup

Having taken place in April in 2014, CounterPoint becomes a Memorial Day weekend party with the festival happening May 22-24.  The place is the same as last year – Kingston Downs – a centrally located site surrounded on three sides by the Etowah River and about an hour’s drive from Atlanta.

Promoters MCP Presents and C3 Presents revealed a lineup that also includes Dillon Francis, Zeds Dead, Joe Russo’s Almost Dead, Rebelution, RL Grime, OTT, Michal Menert, Tipper, Minnesota, Manic Focus, Lettuce, Galactic, Brodinski, Thomas Jack, Chet Faker and many others. 

What’s new for CounterPoint?  Fans can look forward to new features at several camping areas, including a BBQ grilling area, picnic tables, an official “Hammock Zone” and several yard games at the RV Park. Safari-style glamping tents are also available, giving you the opportunity to choose between sleeping on a real bed or roughing it on a cot.

But if camping isn’t your thing, CounterPoint will run several shuttles to and from Atlanta.

And don’t forget about the Midway, which includes carnival rides, a game center, arts village, art installations, free water stations, covered seating and a dining area at the Kingston Downs Food Court.  At the Midway Stage you’ll find morning yoga sessions and various workshops.
