Live Nation Looks To Thailand
Live Nation is joining forces with BEC-Tero to form a new company to promote international concerts in Thailand.
BEC-Tero is the Thailand’s primary promoter and operates the country’s largest ticketing company and an online music and merchandise store.
Live Nation BEC-Tero Limited will be headed up by Neil Thompson, who’s spent over 22 years working in the music industry in Thailand.
“This represents another important step in increasing Live Nation’s global presence and ensuring we can offer fans, artists and sponsors a seamless service across the world,” LN president and CEO Michael Rapino said.
The new company is expected to promote concerts and festivals featuring not only Western artists, but also regional acts from South Korea and Japan.
Upcoming Live Nation BEC-Tero shows on the books include Avenged Sevenfold, Michael Buble, and One Direction.
