Mariah Carey In Vegas

The title of the production tells you what you need to know – for the first time ever Carey will perform all 18 of her No. 1 hits, including “Vision Of Love,” “Hero,” and “We Belong Together.”

Carey announced her Las Vegas adventure while appearing on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” where she gave members of the studio audience tickets to one of her Sin City gigs along with hotel rooms at Caesars Palace.

“I have so many ideas for the show that I’m currently working on and am excited to perform all of my #1 singles together for the first time and others that are very close to my heart,” Carey said.  “My songs are the soundtrack of my life and I can’t wait to share them with my fans on stage!”

Needless to say, the folks at show producer AEG Live are very, very pleased with the newly announced residency.

“As a consummate songwriter, producer and internationally renowned performer with a remarkable string of number one hits, Mariah brings a unique presence to Las Vegas that speaks to so many fans across the globe,” AEG Live, Las Vegas senior VP John Nelson said.  “AEG Live and Caesars Palace are honored to be part of this collaboration and proudly welcome Mariah to her new residence at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace, home of the greatest entertainers in the world.”

Along with a show featuring her hit songs, Carey is working on a new version of her #1’s album that will include all 18 chart toppers along with newly recorded music.

Let’s get to the dates.  Carey will play The Colosseum May 6, 9-10, 13, 16-17, 20 23-24 and July 8, 11-12, 15, 18-19, 22 & 25-26.
