St. Vincent Expands U.S. Tour

NPR’s Bob Boilen did a recap of the 662 performances he saw in 2014 and put St. Vincent’s 9:30 Club gig in D.C. at the very top of his list, declaring “nothing was better than this show.” Now you have more chances to make sure you’re in the audience in 2015.

The art rocker has added gigs in Madison, Wis.; St. Louis; Louisville, Ky.; Indianapolis; Knoxville, Tenn.; Charlotte, N.C.; and Richmond, Va.

Today the nominations were released for the Brit Awards, including a nod for St. Vincent for “International Female Solo Artist.” She’s up against Beyoncé, Taylor Swift, Lana Del Rey and Sia.

St. Vincent is also in the running for a Grammy for best alternative music album for her 2014 self-titled LP. Numerous publications included the album on their year-end lists from the Guardian to Rolling Stone to Time.

The artist formerly known as Annie Clark starts 2015 with appearances on St. Jerome’s Laneway Festival in Singapore, New Zealand and Australia.
