Billy Joel Goes Back To Wrigley
Not all of Billy Joel’s one-night show announcements are for New York City’s Madison Square Garden. Now he’s booked Chicago’s Wrigley Field with tickets going on sale next week.
Joel is putting on his ball cap and taking his piano outside for a night under the stars at Wrigley Aug. 27.
The concert will mark Joel’s fourth headlining appearance at the home of the Cubs, making him the only artist to play four shows at the “Friendly Confines.” To celebrate the historic achievement, the Cubs will create an original flag honoring the event, 28 of which will fly on the flagpoles on the stadium’s roof on the day of the concert.
