Club’s Permit Pulled After 5 Shot During Chris Brown Show
The owner of the San Francisco Bay Area nightclub where five people were injured in a shooting during a Chris Brown concert has temporarily lost his entertainment permit.
San Jose police say state regulators also suspended Fiesta Nightclub’s liquor license. The 60-day suspensions begin Friday. The club owner wasn’t immediately available for comment Thursday.
Police say Brown wasn’t injured in the Jan. 11 shooting. Cellphone video posted online by fans appears to show the Grammy-winning singer wincing as shots ring out, then being ushered away.
Police say all five people injured in the shootings are expected to survive. No arrests have been made.
