Billy Joel On The West Coast
It appears that Billy Joel’s California fans will have one shot at seeing the Piano Man in action in the Golden State – Sept. 5 at the home of the San Francisco Giants.
That’s AT&T Park, of course. Announcing the gig this morning, Another Planet Entertainment and Giants Enterprises said the September evening will be Joel’s only California concert “this entire year.”
“We are thrilled to host Billy Joel at AT&T Park for the first time in his illustrious career,” Giants President / CEO Larry Baer said. “It’s hard to believe it’s been over four decades since Billy last played in the city of San Francisco, but I’m confident The City will welcome him with open arms. Billy’s star power combined with our world-class venue will make for an unforgettable experience.”
