Billy Joel Adds Philadelphia, Virginia Beach

Billy Joel’s touring schedule continues to grow as the hit maker adds two more shows to his summer schedule – a June evening in Virginia Beach and an August night in Philly.

It only seems as if the Piano Man is adding one or two gigs per day.  After all, it was only yesterday when promoters announced Joel’s only California appearance, a one-night-only (so far) affair in San Francisco.  Now we have two-different sized venues ready to host him in the coming months.

First up is his June 6 show at Farm Bureau Live At Virginia Beach, so far the only amphitheatre on Joel’s 2015 schedule.

Next is Joel’s Aug. 13 engagement at Philadelphia’s Citizens Bank Park.  The 43,500-capacity home of the Phillies is the latest stadium added to the routing, joining the Carrier Dome in Syracuse, Chicago’s Wrigley Field and San Francisco’s AT&T Park.

Add in the previously announced arena dates plus Joel’s one-show-per-month residency at Madison Square Garden and you have a pretty hefty touring schedule.  Here’s Joel’s routing as it stands today:
