12th & Porter To Close
Nashville’s venerated 12th & Porter will be no more once doors close Feb. 28, after more than 20 years in Music City’s North Gulch district.
Owner Keith Hayman told the Tennessean the timing was right to close the 335-capacity club as well as a pizza restaurant he owns in the same building.
Shows will continue until the last night.
“The initiative of 12th & Porter was to give Music City artists regional and national exposition, and our team intends to continue doing that with our strategic partners, and we also want to continue spreading art throughout Nashville,” Hayman told the Tennessean. “Every single genre has graced our stage. It’s really been a phenomenal experience.”
