Primal Scream Brings ‘More Light’ To North America

Primal Scream announces a May outing beginning with the Scottish alt-rock band’s appearance at the .  With destinations including New Orleans, Atlanta, Pittsburgh, Toronto, Boston and New York, ticket sales begin this week.

Vocalist Bobby Gillespie, guitarists Andrew Innes and Barrie Cadogan, keyboardist Martin Duffy, bassist Simone Butler and drummer Darrin Mooney will be bring the music of the band’s latest album, More Light, to the continent along with many fan favorites. 

Written by Gillespie and Innes and produced by David Holmes, the 13-song album features guest appearances by Robert Plant, Kevin Shields, The Pop Group’s Mark Stewart, and Jason Faulkner.  The first single from the album was “2013.”

Primal Scream’s upcoming adventure is made up of dates in the South, on the East Coast and one stop in Canada. Here’s the routing:
