Gersh Joins AEG
AEG Live has a new president of global talent in Gary Gersh, who will help manage and enhance relationships between artists, their agents, managers, other business associates, and AEG’s regional touring and festival offices in his new role.
Gersh most recently served as CEO of The Artists Organization and AEG Chairman Jay Marciano praised him for his rich background as a label founder and artist manager.
“I am confident that the opportunities Gary will develop for both AEG Live and our artists will not only be profitable for both parties but will create exciting programming for music fans,” Marciano said.
Aside from founding TAO, other highlights of Gersh’s career have included building record store chain Licorice Pizza, helping start EMI America Records and Geffen Records, serving as President of Capitol/Blue Note Records and founding G.A.S. Entertainment Co.
