The act is continuing to support its ninth studio album, Lift a Sail, which was released in October via Razor & Tie. Alternative Press praised the LP as the band’s “boldest, most exploratory work to date.” This week the band unveiled the video for “Crash The Gates.” The YouTube description proclaims that the vid is filled with “footage of the NHL’s hardest hits.”

“Crash The Gates’ is about power and dynamics,” guitarist Ryan Mendez said. “It’s incredibly fun to play live because it’s loud and heavy and very engaging with the crowd. We think it’s a perfect fit with the energy and aggression of hockey.”

The European co-bill takes place throughout March, covering the U.K., France, Germany, Denmark, Sweden and Finland. After the adventure with Less Than Jakes wraps, Yellowcard is sticking around the continent for a handful of headline dates in Russia.

Stops on the U.S. outing include Milwaukee, Pittsburgh, Dallas and Tulsa, along with a run of gigs in California.

“We are heading out with a band we have had the honor of sharing the stage with for many years, Finch! Also doing half the tour each will be One Ok Rock and The Downtown Fiction. We are so stoked on this lineup!” Yellowcard said in a joint statement.
