Rod Stewart Adds More Vegas Shows

The Las Vegas residency “Rod Stewart: The Hits” approaches 100 shows this week, prompting AEG Live and Caesars Palace to announce more dates for the raspy-voiced rocker.

Feb. 6 is when Stewart will perform his 100th gig at The Colosseum. That’s also the day when tickets will go on sale for Rod The Mod’s July and August concerts at the venue.

The show’s title tells you all you need to know. “Rod Stewart: The Hits” delivers all those top-selling songs that have constantly defined the performer as a top tier act. “Maggie May,” “Do You Think I’m Sexy” and “Hot Legs” are just a few examples of a hit-laden catalog stretching over decades.

Stewarts new Colosseum dates are July 28, 31 & Aug. 1, 5, 8-9, 12 and 15. Tickets go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. PST.
