You can forget about seeing Morrissey in Iceland.  The former Smiths singer reportedly scratched plans to play Reykjavik’s Harpa Concert Hall because the venue wouldn’t comply with his insistence that the building go meatless for the evening.

The decision is getting a lot of play in the press, mainly because it’s Morrissey being Morrissey.  The artist issued a statement to fan site True-To-You explaining his decision.

“I love Iceland and I have waited a long time to return, but I shall leave the Harpa Concert Hall to their cannibalistic flesh-eating bloodlust,” Morrissey said.  Such is life in the Moz lane.
