Fuji Headliners, McCartney Returns

The first group of artists for this summer’s Fuji Rock Festival July 24-26 at the Naeba Ski Resort in Japan was announced Jan. 31. Two of the three headliners will be Foo Fighters and Muse.

Seven other acts were revealed: The BohicasFKA Twigs – who announced her own participation at Fuji during her first-ever Tokyo show in late January – Happy MondaysOf Monsters and MenTodd Rundgren, and Japanese artists Ringo Shiina and cero.

In other Japan concert news, Paul McCartney has finally announced a series of four Japan shows to make up for the ones he canceled last year after falling ill. He’ll perform April 21 at the  in Osaka, and then April 23, 25 and 27 at . Tickets go on sale at the end of February and will range from 14,000 yen ($120) to 18,000 yen ($153).
