Lil’ Jon returns for Illusive in DJ mode for six nightclubs Feb. 27 to March 7 and slots on the four city Good Life under-18s festival March 1-8. The act was last in Australia October 2014, which was a sellout.

Frontier Touring rescheduled Johnny Marr’s six theatre shows to July 16-22. The British guitarist canceled Jan/Feb dates due to a family illness. Citing “scheduling issues,” Tombowler rearranged Yngwie Malmsteen’s first Australian and New Zealand visit in 10 years. The Swedish born guitarist is set to do six theatres and clubs June 4-13. Frontier Touring and Illusive added Canada’s P. Reign to open for Drake’s first visit downunder slongside 2Chainz.

Sydney hip-hop collective One Day DJs plays the Australian leg (Feb. 25 to March 5) – two of the four arena dates sold out – while Auckland urban trio Midnight Gallery plays the New Zealand stop at Auckland’s  Feb. 23.

Japanese metal, folk and circus act Vampillia returns for a March 6 spot at the Adelaide Festival, and four shows in Sydney and Melbourne March 2-5 through Bird’s Robe. The group’s last visit downunder in 2010 was a sellout.

Live Nation, Artist Voice and Round Up have U.S. roots artist  after his headline run last year, for five East Coast clubs April 8-12 and NZ late March.
