The company, called 10-Jones, will be the superstar rapper-producer’s first dedicated project in Asia, according to the Wall Street Journal.

The focus of the company’s endeavors will be bringing foreign musicians to Korea and seeking new talent in Asia, where it will also be launching a new fashion brand. In addition, it will also invite Korean artists to perform in the U.S. and other countries overseas.

The first announced project is to bring Drake and Iggy Azalea to Asia.

The head of the company will be Malik Yusef Jones, a Grammy Award-winning producer. In that regard, 10-Jones already has competition.

Action star Jackie Chan’s talent company JJCC, is working on bringing K-pop artists overseas, and fashion leader Louis Vuitton has invested heavily in Korea’s YG Entertainment for some synergistic activity outside of South Korea.

However, West and Jone have experience in the country, having collaborated with the Korean idol group JYJ on the group’s song “Ayyy Girl” five years ago.
