Mavericks Lock Down ‘Mono Mundo’ Tour

Calling the outing the “Mono Mundo” tour, The Mavericks are traveling in support of the band’s new album, Mono, landing in stores Feb. 17.  The release date is followed by performances in Boston (Feb. 19), New York (Feb. 20) and north of Philadelphia in Glenside, Pa., Feb. 21.  Feb. 25 finds the band in Dublin kicking off a run that includes concerts in Glasgow, London, Paris and Hamburg.

“We’ve always defied the odds and expectations … a country band from Miami with a Cuban singer?  But it works, because people feel the passion,” guitarist Eddie Perez said.

Fans in North America can start feeling that passion Perez mentioned when the band ventures forth for its spring run.  Here are the dates:
