Chris Brown, Trey Songz Try It Again

Two weeks ago Chris Brown announced via Instagram that the “Between The Sheets” tour featuring the singer along with Trey Songz and special guest Tyga was postponed so that he could complete his community service.  Now there is a revised schedule.

Brown delivered the bad news hours before the tour was to launch at the Hampton Coliseum in Hampton, Va., Jan. 28.  Other dates weren’t officially postponed until approximately 48 hours before each show time, a move that probably inconvenienced fans who had lined up babysitters, made dinner plans and/or rearranged work schedules to see Breezy in action.

Brown’s community service stems from his beating of then-girlfriend Rihanna during Grammy weekend 2009.  Brown eventually pleaded guilty to a felony in exchange for a sentence involving community labor, community service and probation.

But Brown hadn’t completed his community service obligations by the time the tour was supposed to begin. All that appears to be behind the singer because Live Nation has issued a revised schedule with postponed shows slotted for next week as well as in March.   Two missed shows – Bridgeport, Conn., (Feb. 20) and Minneapolis (March 3) – will not be rescheduled.
