Barenaked Ladies Prepares For 2015 ‘Last Summer On Earth’

If you had just one final summer, what would you do? For the Barenaked Ladies, the answer is easy – tour the U.S., from coast to coast! And that’s just what the guys are going to do in June and July.

“It’s the Last Summer on Earth … Again!” frontman Ed Robertson said. “It’s not a doomsday prediction; it’s a call to action. We sincerely hope this won’t be the Last Summer on Earth, but just in case, we’re going to ROCK like it is!!”

Barenaked Ladies first adopted the “Last Summer On Earth” tour moniker in 2012 as a nod to the big Mayan calendar scare.

This time around the Canadian rock band is bringing Violent Femmes and Colin Hay of Men At Work on the road as special guests.  The excursion coincides with the release of the band’s as-yet-untitled new album. The LP is due out on Vanguard Records this summer. You can get an instant download of one track from the album, as well as the digital copy of the full LP upon release, by purchasing tickets to the tour.
