Paul Weller Brings ‘Saturns Pattern’ To North America
Saturns Pattern is the new disc. Dropping May 11 in the U.K. on Parlophone and May 12 in the U.S., the album is the first U.S. release since Weller signed with Warner Bros.
Produced by Jan “Stan” Kybert (Oasis, Bjork, Massive Attack), who worked with Weller on several albums including 2012’s Sonik Kicks and 2005’s As Is Now, Saturns Passing will be available as a standard CD, deluxe CD/DVD, vinyl and a limited edition deluxe box set that gives you the whole shebang. Digital formats will be available in standard and deluxe editions with the latter including previously unreleased bonus tracks. First single from the album is “White Sky.”
“It’s a little bit of a leap into the unknown really,” Weller told Q Magazine. “I don’t know where it will take me … It’s got a lot of movement to it. I think that it’s going to be a bit of an inspiration to people.”
With the exception of a couple of Midwest gigs, Weller’s U.S./Canada run is very East Coast-centric. The word from Warner Bros. is that more dates will be announced. Here’s the tour as it stands today:
