Stone Temple Pilots Announces Spring Plans
STP is working on its first full-length album since original frontman Scott Weiland split and Bennington took over in 2013. The band’s most recent LP is 2010’s self-titled release. In October 2013 STP put out its first EP with Bennington, High Rise.
“We are in the studio and we are working hard on our new record. And it’s coming along great,” Bennington said in a video message posted on the band’s Facebook page Tuesday. “We can’t wait to play some new music for you.”
Last week bassist Robert DeLeo checked in on Facebook to tell fans that the group was going over vocal ideas and had completed four songs instrumentally so far.
