Stone Temple Pilots Announces Spring Plans

Stone Temple Pilots took a break from working in the studio to announce the routing for the band’s first tour of 2015. The act now led by Linkin Park vocalist Chester Bennington is headed to more than a dozen cities, including San Francisco, Denver, New York and Philadelphia.

STP is working on its first full-length album since original frontman Scott Weiland split and Bennington took over in 2013. The band’s most recent LP is 2010’s self-titled release. In October 2013 STP put out its first EP with Bennington, High Rise.

Last week bassist Robert DeLeo checked in on Facebook to tell fans that the group was going over vocal ideas and had completed four songs instrumentally so far.
