Supertramp Eyes Europe In The Fall

Supertramp reveals its first live performances in five years as it details a run across Europe beginning in November in Paris.

Who’s in Supertramp these days?  Of course, Roger Hodgson, the man who voiced hits such as “Dreamer,” “Logical Song” and “Give A Little Bit” left the band in the early 1980s.  These days the lineup includes founder/keyboardist/lead vocalist Rick Davies who sang on several of the band’s songs, including “Bloody Well Right”and “Gone Hollywood.”  Davies kept the Supertramp torch burning brightly following Hodgson’s departure, providing his excellent musicianship and voice on songs like “Cannonball” as well as on albums such as Brother Where You Bound and 2002’s Slow Motion.

Joining Davies are Supertramp members John Anthony Helliwell (saxophone, woodwinds) and Bob Siebenberg (drums).  Rounding out the lineup are Bob’s son Jesse Siebenberg (lead vocals, guitars, percussion), Cliff Hugo (bass), Carl Verheyen (guitars), Lee Thornburg (horns), Gabe Dixon (vocals, keyboards) and Cassie Miller (background vocals).  The fall adventure features the return of Mark Hart (vocals, guitars, keyboards).
