Amanda Palmer Solo Dates
Actually, the Dresden Dolls singer / author had a lot to say. Revealing the tour via her blog, Palmer said after a year of promoting her 2014 book, “The Art Of Asking: How I Learned To Stop Worrying And Let People Help,” she is “crawling the walls to go back to music.”
“Truth: I am still hungry for a certain love,” Palmer blogged. “I want people to love me for doing the music thing. So I figure there is only one way to really fix this problem, and that is TO GO ON TOUR.”
Proclaiming that she isn’t bringing a band, performance artists or extra stage dancers, Palmer wrote, “I am bringing a piano and ukulele, and I am going to go back to what I do: make songs for people in a room.”
