Dirty Heads’ Spring Cleaning
The Southern California band announced the tour as the album’s title track/second single hits the Top 30 on alt radio charts. For the Sound Of Change album the Dirty Heads worked with Grammy award-winning producer Supa Dups (Nina Sky, Bruno Mars), Buddah Shampoo (Ty Dolla $ign), Niles of The Cataracs, Ward 21 and Rome of Sublime.
Reminding us that it’s a Dirty Heads World, the band’s Jared Watson appeared on the Blues Traveler track “Castaway.”
“It was a really laid-back session,” Watson said. “It felt very comfortable. All the dudes made us feel at home and we got along really well, so it made it easier for the creative processes to flow. The coolest part for me was being able to put our twist on such a recognizable sound as Blues Traveler’s.”
